a. First-party cookies: cookies set directly by Persint. These include information such as login credentials.
b. Third-party cookies: cookies created by a domain other than Persint's. They result from features of other companies embedded in the platform.

Collecting this information is therefore essential to ensure the website works or the service is properly provided.
Accordingly, strictly necessary activities include those related to the specific functionality of the service; without them, the User would not be able to carry out the platform's main activities. 6. How Cookies Are Used
6.1. The User may reject or accept the processing of these cookies. Information is also provided about the specific purposes of the data collected. Therefore, the processing of cookies in Users' browsers when they access the Persint platform is never carried out improperly, without the User's permission and/or knowledge.
6.2. Persint uses cookies for security purposes, processing information that helps us protect our pages and detect fraud and abuse.
6.3. Persint also uses cookies for authentication. When you sign in to the platform with your personal account, we store a unique ID number and the time you signed in in an encrypted cookie on your device. This cookie lets you browse the platform's pages without signing in again on each page. You can also save your sign-in information so you don't have to sign in every time you return to the platform.
6.4. Persint uses cookies to improve the User's experience when visiting its platform. For example, some cookies remember preferences so the User doesn't have to make those choices again every time they visit/access the platform.
7. Rejecting and Deleting Cookies
7.1. The User can manage or disable cookies in their browser settings. However, since they are necessary to use our platform, disabling all cookies may prevent the User from fully accessing our platform.
7.2. Note that most browsers accept cookies automatically. Therefore, if the User does not want cookies to be used, they may need to actively delete or block them. If the User rejects the use of cookies, they can still visit the Persint platform, but some functions may not work correctly.
7.3. Cookies used to keep access logs for internet applications – that is, the set of information on the date, time of use and IP address of a given internet application from a given source logical port – cannot be deleted for 6 (six) months from browsing, as keeping them is a legal obligation imposed by article 15 of the Internet Civil Framework (MCI) and article 16, item I, of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
7.4. After the period in which personal data must remain stored, it will be deleted from our databases or anonymized, in line with the cases provided for in art. 16 of the LGPD. That is, personal information needed to comply with legal, judicial and administrative requirements and/or to exercise the right of defense in judicial and administrative proceedings will be kept, even though other data is deleted.
8. Data Sharing
8.1. Because of third-party cookies and temporary identifiers, data strictly necessary for authentication and for completing integrations is shared with partner technical providers, solely when the User enables the respective integration. The technical providers are identified specifically for each User, with the necessary connections defined in the Agreement signed between Persint and the Contracting Company to which the User is linked.
8.2. At any time, the User may withdraw their consent regarding cookies, except necessary cookies, by deleting the Persint platform's cookies through the settings of their preferred browser. For more information on managing cookies, see the official instructions of the main browsers listed below.
